Criteria for Richard Kessler Memorial Award

Richard Kessler Memorial Award

This award was established in 2003 to honor the memory of Richard Kessler.  Richard Kessler was the owner of Kessler Therapy Equipment who unselfishly assisted many physical therapists in starting their practices by extending credit and customer service that was not the norm.  This award honors an individual physical therapist who has given of themselves to society without thought of personal or professional gain.

The purpose of this award is to recognize a physical therapist with those qualities Richard Kessler displayed in a professional and friendly manner. First, his persona exemplified dignity and a loyalty to physical therapy.
